May I bring a friend or family member with me for support?
Yes. However, when you meet with one of our professionals at the FJC, your friend or family member will be asked to wait for you in the waiting area. They may also request to speak with another advocate if they would like additional information on supporting their friend or family member.

Yes, we have specially designed areas just for children.

Will anyone find out I was at the Family Justice Center?
All client records and information are kept in the strictest of confidence. Information will not be shared without a written release form from the client or where legal exceptions exist.

Can I get a protection order at the FJC, and how much will it cost?
Yes, you can file for a temporary protection order at the FJC. There is no cost for filing a protection order.
