How Do I?

Volunteer at the Center

The Crystal Judson Family Justice Center accepts applications for volunteers on an as-needed basis. Assistance from volunteers at the Center focuses on two primary functions, client hospitality and supervision of the children’s play room. On a less regular basis, volunteers are needed to help with special events. If you have a special talent that could benefit the FJC, we want to know about it! Please be sure to note it on your application.

Apply for an Internship at the Center

Throughout the year, internships are open for students who are enrolled in a college or university. Interns will be offered first-hand experience by working directly under the supervision of advocates as they work with clients. As well, interns attend protection order court to provide court support, assist in answering the Domestic Violence Helpline and assist advocates with an array of client-centered tasks.

Help Someone Who is a Victim of Domestic Violence

Friends, family members and co-workers who suspect someone they know is being abused can get information by calling the Domestic Violence Helpline at (253) 798-4166.

Keep My Computer History From Being Discovered

Computers create records in hundreds of ways of everything you do on the computer and on the Internet. If you are in danger, please try to use a safer computer where someone abusive does not have direct access, or even remote (hacking) access.
